Who am I?

I’m just a girl still on a mission to grow compassion for animals, promote wellness for people and change the food system for good – and I want you to join me.

I've found that a little help goes a long way to make going vegan as joyful and exciting, satisfying and sustainable as it should be. Going vegan for the animals (and - bonus – for your emotional and physical health and the health of the entire planet!) may be one of the most precious things you do in life. It may be the most profound realization of your true nature in alignment with your actions.

This is glorious. This is people moving to the side I’m on. This is power to the people standing up and speaking for the animals who cannot, and I’m here for it!

People like to talk about their vegan origin story. I actually can’t remember mine. Eating animals has never felt OK for me, but I've lived both in and out of alignment with that inner knowing. A decade ago, though, I took animals off my plate and changed my food for good. I changed my partner's food and our dogs' food, too. Quite a bit later, I stopped using products like leather and wool. It took me even longer to discover the animal-based ingredients hidden in everyday items like my toothpaste and pre-workout powder.

The most recent thing I did was to stop riding horses, something that had been the center of my life and identity. The loss I felt was replaced with a more powerful sense of overwhelming relief. For the first time, my whole lifestyle matched my deepest values about animal rights, and it felt so good!

It’s just not that f-ing hard to stop eating and using animals. Of course you can google everything, but if you want a real person, not simply more content, write to me.

This is me with my good friend Peach at Laster Ranch, a vegan farmed animal sanctuary in Morongo Valley, California.

These are things I studied, but mostly I just like to share my life experiences with you.
